Join us at February’s NOBS Forum with Norman Graubart, proprietor of the Cleveland Book Company, to learn where to start. Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of another antiquarian bookseller, he has been collecting books since his childhood, but has sharpened his skills through the discipline of the trade. His talk will cover some of the basics of how to go about starting a book collection, how to identify a first edition, how to navigate the online marketplace, how best to maintain your books, and red flags to look for when you’re buying books.
